Five years..

Five years ago today, I was awakened with a call from my friend Janetta to tell me that a place had crashed into the World Trade Center. I got up, turned on the Today show just in time to see another plane crash into it. Rachel Hurley gives us a frightening look at what it was like to live in Manhattan on that day; it's a must read.

Five years later, we sit here, our lives lost STILL not avenged because of the worst president in the history of the Republic refuses to go after the man who masterminded this horror, Osama Bin Ladin.

You know, the man that Saddam Hussein hated as a threat to HIS country.
Yet, we invaded IRAQ for NO GOOD REASON other than he threatened George Bush's daddy.

I fear that if we don't at least get Congress back from the Goopers this year, the Republic may not last. Yes, I am sober, but I fear what Bush has done to this country and COULD continue to do to it if we don't get control of our government back from this war criminal, this traitor to everything our founders held dear.

Once their term ends, Bush, Cheney, Rice and Rumsfeld should be shipped to the Hague for War Crimes trials; if found guilty, they should be executed.

Period.

Never forget September 11.

Hmmm, I thought we'd been chasing old Bin Ladin for a few years now and almost killed him a few times. LWC, put the kool aid down.

Bush isn't my favorite president, but let's be honest, I'm sure he'd love to be able to have a photo op with Osama's head on a platter.

And you accuse LWC of drinking the Kool Aid? LOL!

For someone who insists on "honesty" you sure can lie and shill with the best of them.
If Bush wanted Bin Laden he wouldn't have called off the hunt in Tora Bora.

Your President, and your party (Republican and/or DLC. same thing), don't have the brains, the guts, or the desire to get the job done.

Bush doesn't give a f**k about this country, 9/11, securing borders or finding "terrists". He cares about money and power.

If you can't see that, you're just a blind as he is.

No Republican will EVER take care of a problem today if it gives them something to run on tomorrow.

Hell John, I know how much you're into the whole immigration thing--- They even tabled that to be taken up by a "future Congress". Look for them to start making some noise on it when they need it to hang onto the White House.

Abortion? How goddamn long does the GOP have to control all three branches of government to make anything happen there? They don't want to "fix" it--- They want to bring out religious voters by making noise on an issue they'll never move on.

Osama bin Laden is the same concept. Why capture him in 2001 when he can be made into a boogeyman in election seasons?
