Today is the 200th Anniversary of the birth of the greatest President this nation has ever known, Abraham Lincoln. He saved this nation from splitting in two, and wanted nothing more than to heal it when the Civil War ended. Sadly, he was murdered by the coward John Wilkes Booth just a few days later.I wonder what he would think of what has become of the Party he created. Rest In Peace, Mr. Lincoln.

Excellent words: as a flexible and adaptive thinker, Lincoln would criticize any party, idea or concept that became absolutist and dogmatic. That applies to Democrats as well as Republicans.
