As per your tag line, it is not a matter of getting food to the poor. The question is how best to get food to them. Centralized government authority in the
1930s gave the Ukrainians forced collectivation, mass starvation and ruthless suppression of any forms of dissent. Free markets, on the other hand, have led to the most over-flowing abundance of any type and variety of food that has led to weight problems for thee and me. Given those choices, asking questions instead of reciting platitudes that imply anyone who raises a doubt about received orthodoxy is a deviant and deserves shunning or bullying or just plain meanness, I'll take the market.
