This is, of course, the premier political event of the summer, the one that NO Democrat should miss, it has become the replacement for the St. Peter Picnic.
Thanks as always to Commissioner Chism, Nate Jackson of the Teamsters, and Democratic National Committeewoman Gale Jones Carson for putting on this event. I'll be there, and you should, too.

Probably totally OT, but nothing about the Ford fundraisers for Cohen, the holocaust museum shooting, or the bomb threat at Memphis Center for Reproductive Health last night?
I'd have thought that registered a blip/link (I know you all don't want to write the same stuff as the MSM, but could link something)on the left-screen radar, no? It's getting to be a terrorist act a day almost.
Only so much I can get to at one time...
What, the cloning experiments haven't worked out?
I'm sad to miss the Chism picnic this year. Midsouth Pride is scheduled for the same day and TEP will be hosting a booth at the Festival and marching at the parade. I hope that next year the two events don't conflict.
