LEON GRAY IS OUT AT 680!

According to a post at the RadioInsight.com bulletin board from someone known to be an Entercom employee, Leon Gray is no longer at WWTQ AM 680.

While the homepage of WWTQ still indicates Leon is there, if you click on the two links shown, you get PAGE NOT FOUND.

We do not know at this time why this has occurred......

UPDATE: a call to WWTQ has confirmed that Leon is no longer there, they are going to revert back to Randi Rhodes for that timeslot. The receptionist indicated that there were no plans at this time for another local show, which is NOT good news.

Thank goodness Leon Gray has gone. He certainly was NO progressive! His narrow-minded religious beliefs were offensive. There are surely progressives in this town who know local politics and who support human rights. Progressives support civil rights. Leon didn't.

Darn, and I kinda liked Leon.

I bet it has something to do with that damn neocon accountant that called the other day...

Glad he is gone. The homophobe could not understand the concept of separation of church and state. His ego is too big for even him to handle. In reference to an e-mail response he sent to me, so long "lucy".

I'm glad Leon is gone. I finally stopped listening to Leon because I got sick of EVERY thing being about race or religion. I'm glad to have Randi Rhodes and The Majority Report back.

Leon became to personal on his show, his ego is as big as all outdoors and he is never wrong.
Leon, I hope you land on your feet.

I am so Glad Leon is gone! Kudos to WWTQ! I listen to the radio all day at work but when Leon would come on I would just turn it off! MUCH prefer to listen to Randi Rhodes! I thought Leon was rude and one-sided. I was kinda getting tired of him advertising for Cooper Systems too, I went to check them out and I thought they were way overpriced! (They seemed like nice people though, they just had too much of a markup I think)

I had a hard time with Leon, he did not fit in the Air America vibe, as others have said he was very conservative in his social veiwpoint and nothing could sway him. We should applaud him though for offering an open debate and forum for local politics that is something you don't see around here.

Any radio personality who has never been fired had no listeners to start... Thanks for the memories and the comments. I may NOT be progressive but I'm always bold enough to be really who I am no matter what others think. For the record, I thought only conservatives sang from the same hymnal, these comment suggest you only want to hear it your way...PITY Leon Gray
