Reverend Kenneth Whalum SENIOR passes away.

The former pastor of Olivet Baptist Church and City Councilor passed away Monday at the age of 73 after a long illness. Reverend Whalum had been an employee of the United States Postal Service for many years; Congressman Steve Cohen recently arranged to have the Main Post Office at 3rd and GE Patterson renamed in his honor.
