This may not be an original comment, but I thought that Ms. Obama's speech before the DNC was sort of like that of Mr. Obama's 2004 DNC keynote. IOW, she started out a little tentative and stiff, as he did then. I was nervous for her to do well. Then she caught fire toward the end of the speech as he had done 4 years prior, and I went from nervous to emotional about it. The crowd shots, not shown her, said it all. Use whatever sports cliche you want to here--I say she stuck her landing.
