I want to make this important announcement

Contrary to what you may have heard, I am NOT the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby.

Just so you know.

UPDATE: No. I'm STILL not the father, but our friend Steve at Vibinc has kicked it up a notch with a re-working of a legendary song that is, in my humble opinion, in deliciously bad taste.

Go on, you know you want to, it's about 2/3 of the way down the post!

Not a very good strategy. Tell them you "might" be, but you can be bought off for a few grand!

I normally don't blog pimp, but since you mentioned Anna Nichole Smith, I thought I should let you know that I wrote a tribute to her, to the tune of Candle in the Wind, at my blog.

If you want the mp3, just shoot me an email.

Cheers,

The other, other Steve

What about that husband of Zsa Zsa? You just couldn't make this stuff up!

And since when did she get to be 90?

Are you sure Cracker? Can any breathing hetero man in the U.S. with a pulse be sure they did not father her baby?

The anti-gay wing nuts accuse gays of threatening marriage, and emphasize the importance of "reproduction" and heterosexuality, but there are heteros who do not know who the father of their own children are???

Jim,

I'm sure SHE knew, but she took that info with her...

WHY she kept it a secret is the question that keeps people interested in this sad story...

Desi,

I located the LWC tonight at a highly regarded Midtown BBQ joint. I kept the LWC under surveillance for almost an hour. Nothing suspicious was observed however he was overheard having conversations of a political nature.

Of course you're not the father of Anna's baby.
I am.

Ok, I confess, I AM THE FATHER....
What can I say, I had a "few" drinks at one of our local gay bars, and in walked Nicole, but I thought she was a hot man in drag!

Jim

P.S. Seriously, her life was a mess, certainly makes mine seem "normal," and I cannot help but feel sorry for her. In some ways she was certainly a victim of our culture, though she tried to play it, but it got her as it has many other "celebrities."
RIP Nicole, but will things ever change?
I doubt she is the last "victim"

This is not breaking new ground, but I am put in mind of the horrendous joke John McCain told years ago that he had to apologize for:

"I found out why Chelsea Clinton is so ugly," was McCain's set-up line.

"Her real father is Janet Reno," was the punch.

That, of course is in such egregious bad taste that you have to denounce it or celebrtate it.
