According to the Media, John Edwards doesn't exist.

What? Don't believe me? Go ask Greg Sargent at Talking Points Memo, he's got the data!

That's right, it's all a big conspiracy against Edwards. Personally, I blame the Jews. We do control the media, after all.

Well, I wasn't going to bring that up, but since you mention it...

Wait, I thought the Jews hated Barack Obama because he is a secret Muslim? I'm confused...

Anywho, I'm sure if Edwards showed any signs of momentum the press would cover him more...and they certainly will if he ends up winning Nevada. But as of right now, he hasn't been doing much of anything to pay attention to.

As much as we may not like it, the press (and American public for that matter) just generally doesn't care all that much about "policy," at least at the nuance level, and that is really the difference between HRC, Obama, and Edwards; nuance.

And there are only so many times they can report on the fact that he is the son of a mill worker. Rudy Giuliani has been getting a lot less press than he used to because he too is coming in last in most of the early Presidential contests.

The reality is that the "libural media" is an echo chamber. Turn on any channel and you can see the same report at virtually the same time by the same "oh so very important sounding" douchebag. So, if CNN mentions HRC or Obama once, it turns into 50 mentions.

Edwards, Obama, and HRC have consistently polled in double digits nationally. They should be getting coverage that's at least in the ballpark with each other. Instead, Obama and HRC enjoy a huge amount of coverage, where Edwards is hardly mentioned. Hell, Biden got more mentions back in December than Edwards! Probably because he regularly "sucks the Russert" on Sundays.
