Who's your choice for Mayor in 2015?

Here's another interesting question for the ExecCom:

Are you going to make endorsements in the Judgeship races this year? I remember that we have done so in the past (as I sat on the Elections committee then - just ask the honorable Phyllis Gardner - she remembers me!) and it helped several candidates.

Just ask Judge McLin, or Judge Lambert-Ryan or Judge Stotts! It can be all the difference in the campaign for some judges. Some of those who sat on the ExecCom with me will remember that I attempted to curtail the process. Yes, I did, and I was rightly thumped for it, and the ExecCom voted to do it.

I am going to ask the ExecCom to make endorsements in these non-partisan races. The Goopers are, so we may as well join them. I, of course, will make my own later, but the ExecCom should push forward.

Wow, someone who admitted they made a mistake. I am impressed. I am 100% in agreement that endorsements should be made. Not every race will merit endorsement, but those that do should be taken up pronto.

See? THAT'S why we're writing you in!

Because I agree with you? :-) If I write in Leftwingcracker for position 3, you think they'll know who I mean?

Well, there's at least two members of the ExCom that are for it. When we let the Repubs do and we don't they tend to win. So what happens where there are two Dems running? I say endorse one but do it after some good old fashion dealmaking and compromising, those tried and true lost arts.

And if your vote for Holt in one Dist 1 position, and LWC in another, remeber the BCD in the third.

Hot Damn! We've got a ticket now!!!!

There we go! Now of course write-ins don't count at this point (unless someone already sent in the little form) What see we run a give them hell ticket in four years?

If there was a ticket of three... Economy of scale and all... Hmmm... 2000 years of no Democrats running and then a ticket. That could shake things up. I'm serious though. Run a full low/almost no budget campaign with the idea of building somthing.
